COVID19
In 2020, COVID – 19 pandemic’s effect on countries around the world has been disastrous leading to loss of lives, morbidity and increase in poverty. Nigeria reported its first case in February, and by March was placed on a total lockdown to curtail the spread of the virus. This led to the loss of jobs, income, and livelihood and a resultant increase in gender-based violence. The effects continue to be felt, over a year later.
