Education & Training

Abdullahi Muhammad Ahmad is a development practitioner and project coordinator with extensive experience designing, implementing, and monitoring community-based interventions across Northern Nigeria. As the Programs Lead, Livelihood Support, he brings expertise in gender equality, child protection, positive parenting, and transforming harmful social norms. He has led and supported projects involving safe spaces, mentorship programmes, community sensitisation, and capacity-building initiatives, working closely with field officers, mentors, families, and local stakeholders. He is particularly passionate about engaging male parents as key decision-makers to promote positive parenting practices and improve outcomes for children and families.

Abdullahi also brings strong expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), including the design and administration of baseline and endline assessments, development of data collection tools, and use of digital platforms such as KoboCollect for real-time data tracking. He has supported data quality assurance, routine monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to inform adaptive programming and decision-making. Committed to evidence-based programming, he integrates MEL principles into project design and implementation to strengthen accountability, learning, and continuous improvement, with a focus on inclusive, data-driven, and sustainable development outcomes.
